At the BlizzCon in 2019, Blizzard Entertainment finally revealed Diablo 4 after years of waiting. The gaming community was aware of the upcoming Diablo title, but only a little information was available. At this event, a cinematic trailer was premiered that confirmed the arrival of new classes as well as the return of some old classes. Previously, Diablo 4 was planned to launch in 2022, but the release was delayed till 2023.

After some recent leaks, chances are that the new release window is accurate. Diablo 4 isn't a full-fledged role-playing game, but there will be RPG content in the game. In June 2022, a complete gameplay video of Diablo 4 was released to show gamers what was coming their way. This article features a complete overview of the content in Diablo 4, such as characters, the open world, and other aspects.

1. Open World

Diablo 4 features a storyline with demonic and biblical themes instead of the usual fantasy approach by many RPGs. It will feature vast regions that will be ten to twenty times bigger than Diablo 4. Players will meet players on their journey and use their Diablo 4 Skill and Diablo IV gold to defeat them. The game features dynamic weather, and the weather condition will affect monsters, players, and the environment accordingly.

2. Campaign and Storyline

Diablo 4 features a non-linear campaign, so you will be your boss and choose your acts according to your goals. The total duration of the campaign is around thirty-five hours. For storytelling, Diablo 4 features lore books. Instead of the usual Diablo approach, which tells the stories of heroes and kings, Diablo 4 tells stories of villages and populations.

The story starts when Lilith is summoned to Sanctuary from exile through a dark ritual. This ritual is performed by Triune. After the campaign of Malthael, most of the world's population is killed, and the world is in complete chaos. After seeing this situation, angels have left the side of humanity, and the gates of heaven are closed.

3. Classes

This time, the latest Diablo title will feature five classes at the time of the first release, which is given below.

-Barbarian
-Druid
-Sorcerer/Sorceress
-Rogue
-Necromancer

You will be able to customize characters with a variety of skin tones, ethnicities, hair colors, eye colors, scars, tattoos, hairstyles, facial features, make-up, and other choices. After creating the character, the next step will be to choose skills from options like ultimate skills, basic skills, and groups of skills.
By using the perfect combination of these skills, you can create the perfect build. A new ability called "Evade" is coming up for all five classes. With this ability, you can quickly dash for a short distance.

4. Gears and Items

There is a separate loot system for Diablo 4, just like Diablo 3. According to this system, each player will get separate loot. You can loot items from around the game map, but the relevant monster will drop more such Diablo 4 items. All the characters can wear a total of ten items, but there are exceptions for two classes due to the arsenal system.

Rogues can equip eleven items, while Barbarians can equip twelve items. There are five qualities of items, and here are more details about these qualities.

-Normal: Items of this rarity have no affixes.
-Magic: These items feature the highest affixes of all items.
-Rare: These items are better than magic items and have more than five affixes.
-Legendary: These items have one legendary affix along with four regular affixes.
-Set: These items are almost equal to legendary items in terms of power.
-Unique items: These items have fixed affixes, and they are for builds.

5. Combat and Monsters

Diablo 4 is coming with monsters from families like skeletons, Khazra, Fallen, etc. There will be some new additions, such as cursed undead and cannibals. Combat in Diablo 4 will be very difficult.

6. Dungeons

Just like every Diablo title, Diablo 4 also features dungeons as the core part. This time, more than one hundred and forty randomized dungeons will be coming up. A new dungeon-level random generator is implemented for a better experience. Each dungeon will be instanced for your party, and it will change afterward. Here are some important details about dungeons that you should keep in mind.

-No loading screens when going to the next level in the same dungeon.
-Dungeons will feature random events as well, such as destroying a building or defeating some monsters, etc.
-Dungeons will change depending on your actions, so proceed with caution.
-New objectives for each dungeon.
-Better rewards and greater difficulty as you proceed in the dungeon.
-Specific dungeons will feature specific gear items.
-The game will switch between dungeons that give specific items to players in the loot.
