Diablo 4 Beginners Guide: 13 Tips to Know Before Starting

Diablo 4 is a role-playing action title where you have to fight the hordes of hell. The game is now available for both PC and consoles so everyone wants to enjoy fighting demons. But this demonic adventure is pretty challenging especially for beginners. This is why these 13 tips will help you stay on the right path in mobalytics Diablo 4. These tips will help you understand various game elements and systems so you can progress quickly and reach high ranks in no time.

1.Complete Main Quests
The first major city that you’ll unlock in Diablo 4 is Kyrovashad but you will have to do some grinding before you reach this city. Pro players suggest that you should stick with main story quests and don’t try anything else before you unlock this city. Kyrovashad will act as your hub and it is safe to say that the game actually starts from here.

2.Activate Waypoints
Diablo 4 features a pretty big map so travelling becomes difficult. Thankfully, waypoints are available in the game that enables you to quickly travel to places. You have to activate these waypoints by going near them. Once they are activated, you can quickly travel to them using other waypoints on the map.
3.Dismantle Gear
Diablo 4 features an economy where you can earn different currencies by selling diablo 4 items, finding chests, and killing enemies on the map. You can even sell gear to get currency in return but this isn’t recommended by pro players. Instead, you should dismantle gear. Dismantling gears will provide you with components parts that you can use to craft other gears. The game features a lot of crafting so you need to have crafting material in your bag all the time. Dismantling gear is the best option to get free crafting material.
4.Pin Locations on Map
The map in Diablo 4 is a bit confusing so using the pin option will save some time. You can simply click on the desired location on the map to add a pin and that pin will act as a waypoint for your journey. You can stay on the path and reach your destination in no time which can become a nightmare because you can easily forget the path. The mini-map shows a red line and you can follow that red line to reach the destination.
5.Stash Gems
Gems are mainly used to buff your weapons by socketing them. They grant various bonuses depending on their type and rarity. In Diablo 4, you have a limited bag space and many players make mistake of bring these gems onto field with them. You should avoid this and simply stash unnecessary gems at home to use them when they are needed.
6.Try all Classes
Diablo 4 features five different classes for now. These includes Necromancer, Rogue, Druid, Sorcerer, and Barbarian. You start with just one classes but you can change to the desired class anytime you want. Use this opportunity to test out all the available classes before finalizing your class for your journey.
7.Don’t Die
Diablo 4 features respawning when you die but there is still no point in dying all the time. Because, your gear will degrade each time you die.
8.Try Side Quests
Side quests are a great way to keep you busy in Diablo 4 if you don’t have anything else to do. Moreover, they have separate stories to tell and provide you with a variety of different loot that you won’t get otherwise.
9.Use Elixers
Elixers are potions that you can use to get various buffs such as damage, experience points, and currency buffs, etc. Many players aren’t familiar with the inventory in Diablo 4 and they haven’t gone past the first tab. Don’t do this mistake and move to the Elixers section to use them for free buffs. These Elixers will help you a lot especially when you are grinding and need experience points.
10.Take part in Events
Random events are available on the game map and you can complete them to learn rewards such as gear. These events also provide users with chests.
11.Unlock Bar Slots
To unlock bar slots in Diablo 4, you will have to reach level 8. You can equip skills according to available bar slots.
12.Use Aspects
Passive abilities are available and you can add them to gear. Complete dungeons in order to get these aspects as well as you can also extract them from an existing item.
13.Change loot Settings
Looting is essential but it becomes difficult after sometime because item labels disappear from the map and finding them manually is like finding a needle in a hay stack. You can go to settings section to change this setting. Many players misunderstand tat the gear is gone after the label disappears but this isn’t true at all.
