5. Druid

Druid remains in fifth place in our rankings. It is still a very strong class, with great survivability and output. However, it lacks the sheer burst damage of the other classes in the top four.

The malignant ring for Druid, the Inexorable Will Ring, is a solid addition to the class. It allows Druids to pull in distant enemies and deal damage to them based on Willpower when casting an ultimate skill. This is a great way for Druids to improve their mob clear and open-world performance.

Overall, Druid is a great class, but it is just slightly behind the other classes in terms of raw power.

4. Necromancer

Necromancer moves up to fourth place in our rankings for Season 2. The new malignant ring, the Sacrilegious Ring, is a massive upgrade for the class. It provides an auto corpse explosion and skeleton summon every 1 second, as well as auto-triggering corpse tendrils every 8 seconds.

This makes Necromancers even more tanky and survivable, and it also improves their damage output. Necromancers can now clear tier 100s and Uber Lilith with ease.

The main reason Necromancer is not higher in our rankings is because of its single-target damage. It is still not as good as the other classes in terms of burst damage.

3. Rogue

Rogue remains in third place in our rankings. It is a very powerful class, with great damage output and mobility. However, it is also the most fragile class in the game, and it can be difficult to play at the highest levels.

The malignant ring for Rogue, the Shifting Shadows Ring, is not as impactful as the rings for the other classes in the top three. It causes enemies to look away from you for 3 seconds and take some damage every 12 seconds. This is a nice bonus, but it is not game-changing.

Overall, Rogue is a very powerful class, but it is also the most difficult class to play.

2. Barbarian

Barbarian moves up to second place in our rankings for Season 2. The new malignant ring, the Red Fur Ring, is a huge upgrade for the class. It makes your next Hammer, Upheaval, or Death Blow a guaranteed crit, and it also deals up to 30% more damage.

This makes Barbarians even more powerful, and they can now clear tier 100s and Uber Lilith in record time. The only downside to Barbarians is that their leveling experience is not as good as the other classes.

1. Sorcerer

Sorcerer remains in first place in our rankings for Season 2. It is the most powerful class in the game, with insane damage output and great mobility. Sorcerers can clear tier 100s and Uber Lilith faster than any other class.

The malignant ring for Sorcerer, the Storm Conductor Ring, is not as impactful as the rings for the other classes in the top three. It causes a lightning bolt to chain to strike enemies up to 5 times when you cast a lightning spell. This is a nice bonus, but it is not game-changing.

Overall, Sorcerer is the most powerful class in Diablo 4 Season 2. It has insane damage output, great mobility, and a solid malignant ring.

Impact of the Malignant Rings

The malignant rings have had a significant impact on the game. They have made all of the classes more powerful, and they have also made the game more enjoyable to play.

The rings are particularly beneficial for Necromancers and Barbarians, as they have given these classes the extra boost they need to compete with the Sorcerer at the highest levels.

Conclusion

Diablo 4 Season 2 is a great time to be playing the game. All of the classes are viable, and there are many different builds to choose from. The malignant rings have also added a new layer of complexity to the game, and they have made it even more enjoyable to play.

Additional Notes

Here are some additional notes about the class ranking:

· The Sorcerer is the best class for clearing tier 100s and speed farming.

· The Barbarian is the best class for single-target damage.

· The Rogue is the most versatile class, and it can be played as a ranged or melee character.

· The Necromancer is the most tanky class, and it has a number of different viable builds.

· The Druid is a well-rounded class, and it can be played as a caster or a melee character.

Ultimately, the best class for you will depend on your playstyle and preferences. If you are looking for the most powerful class, the Sorcerer is the best choice. If you are looking for a versatile class, the Rogue is the best choice. If you are looking for a tanky class, the Necromancer is the best choice. And if you are looking for a well-rounded class, the Druid is the best choice.
